Welcome to Dr Mohan Kannam

Dr Mohan Kannam specialised in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of eye conditions and diseases in children and adults. He is trained in diagnosing & treatment of wide range of eye problems that may arise in infancy, childhood, and adolescence, such as amblyopia (lazy eye), strabismus (crossed eyes), refractive errors (nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism), congenital cataracts, squint (crossed eyes) He had completed his basic medical school from NRI medical college, Guntur and residency in ophthalmology from BW Lions superspeciality Eye Hospital, Bangalore.He received additional two years of fellowship training in Pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus from L V Prasad Eye Institute (LVPEI).Following his training, he worked as consultant at LVPEI to enrich his experience in adult cataract, Pediatric and Neuro-Ophthalmology services. Dr Mohan Kannam often works in close collaboration with other specialists, such as Pediatricians, Neonatologists, Geneticists, and Pediatric Neurologists, Neurologists,Physicians to ensure the best possible outcomes for his patients.
